I have always loved coffee, from the very first time I caught a whiff of that delightful aroma, especially as someone with hyperosmia I was instantly hooked! I vividly remember at just nine years old, spending endless summer days at my Grandmother’s beautiful Beauty Shop, where I would help out by getting coffee for the clients while secretly making myself a sugary sweet cup to sneak away and savor quietly. During high school, my friends and I would gather for Study Jams at Denny’s, drinking our free refills packed until we eventually got kicked out for hogging up a booth for too long. Then, in college, when those trendy coffee shops began popping up all around Pacific Beach, I experienced a moment of pure joy when I was introduced to my very first Cafe Mocha, which was served in the oversized bowl of a coffee mug at Cafe Crema; I truly fell in love with coffee at that moment.
