Activity Log #10 - 07.28.2026
Wow… I am really behind. And I mean really behind.
I have pages of handwritten notes that still need to be transcribed into Activity Logs. Fair warning: things are probably going to be posted out of order because I am writing this before I’ve finished documenting everything that has already happened.
Since completing Lunar Training and Earth being approved as a participating planet, I’ve also been receiving a surprising amount of communication from the Galactic Bean Alliance Vendor Services Department. Imagine customer support, except exclusively for distributors, and alarmingly proactive about making sure we remain productive members of the interstellar supply chain.
More on that later.
Meanwhile, The Clipboard continues to consume an unreasonable percentage of my day. Every interaction somehow requires correcting its assumptions, undoing the consequences of those assumptions, and then explaining myself to a sentient office supply that somehow believes I’m the inefficient one.
But the thing currently occupying most of my attention is the logistics report for my first coffee shipment to the Lunar Logistics Facility.
Apparently, while quick trips to the Moon are technically possible, orbital traffic, launch windows, and monitoring restrictions make frequent deliveries… impractical.
Which means shipments are enormous.
Which means I apparently need somewhere to store an absurd number of coffee crates.
Am I supposed to rent a storage unit? Keep them in a warehouse? Stack them in the garage and hope nobody asks why they’re stamped with customs markings from places that technically don’t exist?
The fewer people involved in the back end of this business, the better. I feel like every new contact creates another opportunity for questions I absolutely cannot answer.
Then there’s Void.
I honestly haven’t seen much of them since we returned from Lunar Training. Every now and then I catch a glimpse out of the corner of my eye, or notice them watching from somewhere outside after dark, but that’s about it. I was expecting far more mysterious cat appearances and far less interaction with The Clipboard.
Oddly enough, upon our return Void immediately shared memories with me, moments I completely missed because I was unconscious during the trip or somewhere else. The strange but cool part is that the memories arrive like animated cartoons. Apparently my subconscious has decided that telepathic information exchanges are best archived as Saturday morning animation.
They’re hilarious.
I’m trying to recreate them as comics so they can be added to the official record because the GBA loves records. I am still trying to get all the details down in my notes, on my phone, in my journal, sometimes in my sketch book!
At this point I’m beginning to think I need an assistant.
The problem is finding someone who can help organize an interplanetary coffee distribution business without either having me committed… or asking for a paycheck I currently can’t afford.
Unfortunately, I don’t have much time to figure it out.
The first shipment is scheduled to arrive at the Lunar Logistics Facility by August 1, 2026, with the Earth-bound inventory expected no later than September 1, 2026.
As if that weren’t enough, I also received notice that the first anniversary of my recruitment into the Galactic Bean Alliance is approaching. Apparently there is an entire anniversary protocol complete with promotional campaigns, commemorative materials, and marketing requirements that distributors are expected to follow.
I’ve already received the first shipment of promotional materials and am still waiting on the remaining four.
Here’s the problem…
Nobody ever explains what you’re supposed to do with any of it.
After the incident with the disappearing stickers, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous about whatever is arriving next. I attempted to ask The Clipboard for clarification.
It produced an error code.
Which, based on my experience so far, probably counts as an official response.
I’ll continue documenting everything as it unfolds.
Hopefully in the correct order but no promises.
Until then, stay caffeinated.
